Stephanie Murrell is a sixth generation native of White Bluff, TN. Educated in Dickson County, she went on to receive an Associate of Applied Science degree in General Technology with an emphasis in Horticulture and Landscape Gardening from Nashville State Community College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Middle Tennessee State University, and a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Tennessee State University.
While working in the private sector, she held a variety of job positions including, draftsperson for residential and commercial buildings, as project manager for commercial design projects, team leader for a design department, and adjunct instructor for a private college. After receiving a teaching license, Stephanie began work at Springfield High School as a STEM Instructor. There she began teaching Engineering by Design and organized the SHS Robotics Club. She continues to teach engineering, is the Teacher Leader for the CTE-STEAM group within Robertson County Schools and is the coach of the 2024 VEX Robotics V5RC JROTC National Champions.
In addition, Stephanie serves as the treasurer of Liberty Baptist Church where she has been a member for the past 18 years. She served as Vice President of The Friends of White Bluff for 9 years and has also served as a council member for the Town of White Bluff for the past 12 years. Stephanie is a proud cat and dog mom, an amateur birder, and novice beekeeper. She would appreciate your vote for Mayor of White Bluff, Tennessee on November 5th.
